Creative Photography Workshops
With the development and advance of digital cameras, Photography is now more accessible than ever, and this interest is growing daily. Cameras are still complex though, and with this new technology comes a whole raft of new skills and technical issues to master to enable us to get the most out of them. At the same time there is still the age old and universal aspect of “seeing” the image. This remains constant and has changed very little throughout the history of photography.
To take a truly good photograph we need a balance between this creative visualization and the technical know how, because one simply will not work without the other.
Beyond the camera, Digital imaging has created a set of creative stages that used to be the realm of the professional laboratory. From Raw image processing and creative image manipulation, to the final printing itself. All these things are now within the budget of most photographers, but how to know what you need, and how to make it all work?
The aim is to take you through this step by step, stage by stage. From how to get the most out of your camera, how to visualise and look beyond the normal view in a scene to create a great image, then how to take that image to its final destination as a great print you will be proud to hang on your wall or exhibit.
